2012 Nissan LEAF Vehicle Has Finally Launched

"Nissan,the Japanese based automaker, has officially released the 2012 model year of the Nissan LEAF vehicle. The new model of the all-electric vehicle is promising to pack more interesting features for its future customers.
The 2012 Nissan Leaf has a standard battery heater, heated front & rear seats, a heated steering wheel, heated outside mirrors, and a rear HVAC duct on all models. A Quick Charge Port is being offered as standard on the LEAF SL, which can charge the LEAF up to 80 percent of its full capacity in 30 minutes. Owners that use the DC fast charger at home through a 220V outlet, will be able ot charge their vehicle in about seven hours.
“The Nissan Leaf is the first of four 100% electric vehicles Nissan has announced, part of our worldwide commitment to becoming a leader in the effort to build a sustainable, low-carbon society. We believe Nissan Leaf is an exceptionally exciting first step”, said Al Castignetti, the vice president and general manager of Nissan North America.
The 2012 model year Nissan LEAF comes with an 8-year warranty of or 100.000 miles for the advanced lithium-ion battery pack. Nissan is offering five exterior colors for the 2012 LEAF vehicle. Those colors are Cayenne Red, Super Black, Brilliant Silver, Blue Ocean and Glacier Pearl.
Two models of the 2012 Nissan LEAF is being offered, the SV and the SL. Both models are being assembled by the Nissan Motor Co., Ltd in Oppama, Japan, while the lithium-ion batteries are being produced in Zama, Japan."
